The temporal evolution of Neptune’s semimajor axis for the planetesimal disk with a total mass of 30   M and a surface density decaying as a-1 between 10 and 30 AU. The planetesimal disks are assumed to be composed of N = 1000 (green), 2000 (red) and 3000 (blue) equal-mass particles, respectively.
