Spectra of H₂O maser emission towards Sh 2-217 − 3 (see Fig. 16). The position and observing date are indicated in the upper right- and left-hand corner, respectively. In the top panel, the resolution is 0.132 km s^-1. The bottom panel shows the spectrum, smoothed to a resolution of 0.52 km s^-1 to better bring out the possible signal. Note that the velocity of the emission differs from that at the other positions, and from that of the CO.
