Observed central 5007 Å line profile of NGC 4361 (connected crosses) as measured by Muthu & Anandarao (2001) compared with the profiles generated from the models used in Fig. 16. As in Fig. 15, the theoretical profiles are computed for a central aperture of of 1 × 1016 cm and then broadened by a Gaussian of, now, 12 km s-1 FWHM.
