ISOTOPE
Isotopes are forms of a chemical element whose nuclei have the same
number of protons, but a different number of neutrons. Some isotopes
(called radioisotopes or radioactive isotopes) are unstable and emit
radiation.
Cosmogenic isotopes: Radioactive isotopes formed in the upper atmosphere by the action of cosmic rays on atmospheric constituents.
