Table 1: Maximum redshift of detection by AGILE and GLAST as a function of the fireball Lorentz factor $\Gamma$ , the prompt temporal variability $t_{\rm v}$ , and the instrumental integration time $T_{\rm int}$ . The other parameters are fixed as L₅₂=1.0, $\epsilon _{\rm e}=0.45$ , $\epsilon _B=0.1$ , and p=2.5. We also report the peak energies $E_{\rm p}$ of the synchrotron prompt emission and the cutoff energies $E_{\rm cut}$ of the relative SSC component.
Table 2: Our sample of X-ray flares with known redshift and published light curves. $t_{\rm p}$ is the time of the X-ray flare peak, $t_{\rm f}$ is the flare duration, $\Delta t/t$ is the duration-to-flare time ratio, and $L_{\rm p}$ is the peak luminosity of X-ray flares evaluated as $L_{\rm p}= 4 \pi D_l^2 F_{0.2{-}10.0~{\rm keV}}(1+z)^{(2-\gamma)}$ with $\gamma$ the power law photon index.
