Accurate p-mode measurements of the G0V metal-rich CoRoT target HD 52265

This article characterizes the planet-hosting star HD 52265 using high-resolution spectroscopy and asteroseismology. Temperature, gravity, chemical abundances, and an upper limit on the magnetic field are determined. An analysis of 117 days of CoRoT photometry yields precise pulsation frequency, making this star a promising target for asteroseismological modeling.
