On the observational bias of the Trojan swarms
Jupiter possesses a population of Trojan asteroids (with the same orbital period around the Sun) around the Lagrange points L4 and L5. In this issue, Karlson shows that the observed population is complete down to a magnitude H=11.5 and that the L5 Trojan swarm is substantially smaller than the L4 swarm down to this limit.
