Definition of the azimuthal φ-angles. The colors represent the height above the x–y-plane: purple is in plane, blue-green above, and red-yellow below. If the outer disk is viewed perfectly edge-on, the quadrant of 270°–0° is identical to the quadrant 0°–90°, only flipped upside down. The sector 90°–270° is identical to the points of sector 270°–90° appropriately rotated and flipped. We chose this definition of φ to be consistent with Villenave et al. (2024).
