Fractional depth of the TiO band at 7665 Å as a function of the TiO band ratio λ7165/λ7665 for J1753 and several M dwarf standards from Table 3 in Wade & Horne (1988, black) and the X-shooter spectral library (blue). The TiO band ratio implies a spectral type M4-5 V for the companion star in J1753, where the strength of the 7665 Å band is reduced due to disc dilution.
