Schematic representation of the experimental setup used to study the in situ chemical evolution of interstellar dust analogs. The emitted photons from the transient species are collected by optical fibers and directed to an optical spectrometer (STS-UV Ocean Optics) and a vacuum monochromator (Princeton VM-502).
