Velocity distribution of halo stars in the solar neighbourhood (distance <2 kpc) selected from the Gaia 6D sub-sample. The velocities calculated using the full phase-space information of the stars are shown in the left panels, while on the right they have been computed by setting the line-of-sight velocities to zero. Most of the structures present in the full 6D sample are strongly diluted in the 5D case.
