Templates of four classes of host galaxy extracted from (Bruzual & Charlot 1993) and extended towards the ultraviolet and infrared bands by Bolzonella et al. (2000). The four templates are: an elliptical or lenticular galaxy (E/S0, in red), a spiral galaxy with very loose spiral arms (Sbc, in yellow), a spiral galaxy (Scd, in blue), and an highly irregular galaxy (Im, in green).
