Values of the LMC distance modulus obtained from the PL, PLZ, and MV− [Fe/H] relations for RR Lyrae stars (blue symbols), and some of the different TGAS-based PL and PW relations for classical (CCs; red symbols) and Type II Cepheids (T2CEPs; green symbols) derived in this paper. Asterisks, open circles, and filled circles indicate results obtained using the linear least-squares fit (LSQ), the ABL method, and the Bayesian approach (BA), respectively. From bottom to top, RR Lyrae stars (blue symbols): PMKs relations for 195/200/200 stars (LSQ/ABL/BA methods, respectively) and slope from Muraveva et al. (2015); PMKsZ relations for 195/200/200 stars and slope of the dependence on period from Muraveva et al. (2015); MV− [Fe/H] relations for 195/200/200 stars with slope from Clementini et al. (2003). For classical Cepheids (red symbols): PMKs and PW(V,V−I) relations for 95/102/102 stars with slopes from Fouqué et al. (2007); and PW(Ks,V−Ks) relation for 95/102/102 stars with slope from Ripepi et al. (2012). For Type II Cepheids (green symbols): PMJ, PMKs and PW(Ks,J−Ks) relations for 22/26/26 stars with slopes from Ripepi et al. (2015).
