Average Ca ii 8542 Å PMJ line profiles divided by the presence of clear inner-wing peaks: PMJs with only distinct blue peaks (N_onlyblue = 1637, dashed-blue), PMJs with only distinct red peaks (N_onlyred = 29, dashed-dotted-red), PMJs with both distinct blue and red peak simultaneously (N_blueandred = 114, dotted-cyan), and PMJs with distinct blue and possible red peaks (N_{bluewithpossiblered} = 1725, dashed-dotted-magenta). We note that this profile nearly overlaps with the only-distinct-blue-peak profile.
