Sunspot imaged by the SST on 28 June 2010 in the Ca ii 8542 Å line at offsets − 1032 mÅ in the full field of view (left) and − 275 mÅ (middle and right) in the Ca ii 8542 Å line, zoomed in on the middle panel and a subfield that contains a strong inverse Evershed flow, which is the dark feature extending from the bottom of the frame to the edge of the penumbra (right). The borders of the umbra (dashed-red) and penumbra (solid-red) are indicated. Also indicated (left) is the area over which the reference quiet-Sun Ca ii 8542 Å average line profile was computed (dashed-dotted-red). The arrow (solid-white) indicates the direction towards disk-centre. Images on the left and at the middle are at time 23 min 27 s, image on the right is at 37 min 46 s.
