Potential HC Hii region candidate W43-MM1. It is one of the bright dust continuum peak of the W43 “mini-starburst” region (Sridharan et al. 2014). Mid-IR three-color composite images (GLIMPSE IRAC 3.6 μm (blue), 8 μm (green), and WISE 22 μm (red)). The gray contours trace the 870 μm dust continuum emission. The white circles are centered on the pointing position used for IRAM observation. The red star symbol indicates a WISE 22 μm point source. The yellow triangle is an OH maser (Szymczak & Gérard 2004). The green and purple squares indicate Class I and II CH3OH masers (Larionov & Val’tts 2007; Szymczak et al. 2012).
