Star formation rate predicted from the infrared emission of the Herschel-detected star-forming galaxies in our sample, compared to that predicted via X-ray stacking. The grey region encloses a factor of two around the 1:1 relation, and corresponds to the observed scatter of the L_X-SFR relation presented by Symeonidis et al. (2014). No excess is seen in the X-rays, indicating no appreciable contribution from AGN.
