Simulated angular velocity evolution of a solar-mass star with initial rotation periods (at 5 Myr age) of 0.6 (upper curve), 1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 20, and 30 days (lower curve). The simulated angular velocity curves are compared with rotation measurements in h Per (13 Myr; Moraux et al. 2013), the Pleiades (125 Myr; Hartman et al. 2010), M 50 (130 Myr; Irwin et al. 2009), M 35 (133 Myr; Meibom et al. 2009), and M 37 (550 Myr; Hartman et al. 2009).
