Redshift contribution to the stellar mass uncertainty as a function of the stellar mass. The uncertainty is computed from the 1σ dispersion of the ratio M(zspec) /M(zphot) in the spectroscopic sample after removing photo-z outliers. In the top panel, the distribution is shown in four redshift bins, while in the bottom panel it is shown in five stellar mass bins. The error bars correspond to the dispersion reported in each bin of M, while the dashed line is the linear regression associated with the whole sample.
