Latitude cuts in bands relevant to synchrotron emission averaged over the longitude range 20°–30°. These are 0.408, 1.4, and 2.3 GHz, WMAP K-band polarized intensity, and pulsar number counts. A reference age of 106 yr is chosen to define young and old pulsars. No parabolic fit is made to the separate pulsar population cuts.
