Some segments of the oscillations are empirically fitted with the sinusoidal function y = y0 + ξcos(2π(tt0) /P + φ), with y0 the offset along the distance, t0 the initial time, ξ, P, and φ the amplitude, period, and phase of the oscillation, respectively. The related fittings are overlaid with different colours and labels (indicated in the first column) in Fig. 6.
