Adopted mass absorption coefficient of dust as a function of wavelength. The dust emission is simulated by using a mixture of silicate and amorphous carbon grains with optical constants from Draine (1985) and Preibisch et al. (1993). As shown by the fitted blue line, the emissivity index from the far-IR to millimeter wavelengths is β = 1.85.
