Results of the Monte Carlo study where the distribution of the values (T, β) is modelled with a function β(T) = AT − α. The vertical lines show the values of the parameter α estimated from the observations. The histograms S1 shows the distribution of the α values for observations with the added noise σS. These are compared to simulations with β = 2.0 containing the noise components σS and σC (distribution R1) or with additional simulated mapping artifacts, σM (R2, see the text for details).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
