In the right panel we overplot the profile variations expected for a non-radial pulsation with $\ell =2$ , m=-1, $i=40^\circ$ , surface velocity amplitude 38 km s^-1, which is the best-fit $\ell =2$ mode. Both the radial and $\ell =1$ mode fit better than any $\ell =2$ mode.
