Table 1: The numbers of galaxies in the different subsamples, per COMBO-17 field. All galaxies are preselected to have $R\leq 23.65$ , $M_B - 5 \log_{10}h\leq-18.$ , and $0.25\leq z \leq 0.4$ . "Bright'' means $M_B- 5 \log_{10}h< -19.5$ , and "faint'' $M_B- 5 \log_{10}h\geq -19.5$ .
Table 2: STY fit parameters for the luminosity functions of red sequence and blue cloud galaxies in the redshift range $0.2\leq z\leq 0.4$ . The numbers of the galaxies per subsample and field are given in Table 1.
