The paper ``A catalog of edge-on disk galaxies. From galaxies with a bulge to superthin galaxies'' was published in A&A 445, 765 (2006). In the description of the query used to select edge-on galaxies from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 1 on page 767 a minus sign was inadvertently omitted. The correct query expression is:

Colors in the range of -0.5 <g-r< 2 mag and -0.5 <r-i< 2 mag.

In the actual query, the correct color term was used throughout, hence the published query results, figures, and tables - including the on-line tables at the CDS - are unaffected by this correction.
