NGC 3690
- According to NED, the entire
merger forms NGC 3690, while IC 694 is a less prominent galaxy
1' to the northwest. The latter target was observed
by Braatz et al. (2004) in the H2O line. A 1
noise limit of 2.4 mJy per 0.3 km s-1 channel was obtained.
Here we follow the more traditional nomenclature that is commonly used in the literature.
