Equation (7) is based on old opacities resulting in overestimated effective temperatures, the newer relations presented by e.g. Wagenhuber & Groenewegen (1998) may be a better choice since they are based on more recent opacities.

Tests have been performed (with previous versions of the code), where the outer boundary of the model is located at larger distances from the star. These tests have shown that the uncertainties in the terminal velocity caused by the location of the outer boundary are small compared to the uncertainties in the calculation of the time-averaged values.
