Table 1: Multifrequency observations of the eight RS CVn systems. All the dates are for year 1997. I represents the total intensity (and its uncertainty) in mJy, and  $\pi _{\rm c}$ the degree of circular polarization (and its uncertainty) in $\%$, for the four frequencies of observation. An asterisk indicates that the total intensity was variable during the corresponding observation at that frequency. Upper limits on I are given as 3$\sigma $ values. The three last columns list the radio luminosity at 4.9 GHz, $L_{\rm 4.9~GHz}$, and the spectral indexes $\alpha _{\rm 1.4 - 4.9}$ between 1.4 and 4.9 GHz and $\alpha _{\rm 4.9 - 8.5}$ between 4.9 and 8.5 GHz.
