Our best-fit value of $N({\rm H})$ is consistent with the value for $A_{\rm V}$ given by Feigelson & Kriss (1983), which corresponds to $\mbox{$N({\rm H})$ }=0.13\pm 0.06\times 10^{22}~{\rm cm^{-2}}$, using a conversion factor $\mbox{$N({\rm H})$ }/A_{\rm V}=1.9\times 10^{21}$ atoms cm-2 mag-1 (see e.g. Cox 2000).
