This value is 0.03 mag smaller than the one adopted in Sect. 4, which was derived from the comparison of the mean locus of the (MV,V-K) bulge CMD with that of NGC 6528. The lower value of E(B-V) =0.42 is instead required for a best fit with the adopted isochrones, and therefore for a consistent comparison with the synthetic CMD.
