The cross and concentric dotted circles show the PMN position and approximate beam size. The outer circle corresponds to a 2 arcmin beam radius. On both plots the contours are from the 1.4 GHz NVSS maps and the contour levels are 0.004*(2.0)i-0.003 Jy, where i ranges from 0 to 11.
