Primordial star formation triggered by UV photons from UHECR

Abstract
The presence of ultra-high energy cosmic rays in the universe in the pre-ionization epoch enhances significantly H
2 kinetics in virialized halos. It results in more efficient radiative cooling and decreases the lower mass limit of the first
star-forming systems. Consequently, the fraction of baryons contained in the first luminous objects and their contribution
to the reionization of the universe can significantly increase in comparison with the standard scenario.

| What is OpenURL? |

- You can define your own OpenURL resolver with your EDPS Account. In this case your choice will be given priority over that of your library.
- You can use an add-on for your browser (Firefox or I.E.) to display OpenURL links on a page (see http://www.openly.com/openurlref/). You should disable this module if you wish to use the OpenURL server that you or your library have defined.
